BOOK STUFF

These are a few images from a short story I made called “Cogs”.
The backgrounds were hand painted and then edited in photoshop by enhancing the colours.
The figures were hand drawn and then refined and positioned in photoshop

The following A2 images were illustrated by hand to accompany the short story “ The ushuaia rabbit”.
This helped me to learn to take somebody elses ideas and give them my own spin.

This here is a scene from a small illustated poem i wrote.

Digital work

Digital art plays a large  part in my art work, whether as the final product, or as a way of designing what a finished product will look like. Programmes I use include; Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop.

This poster was created by developing a product from a 3D paper as a starting point.
The product was drawn by hand, and edited in photoshop as part of product design project.

This “space detectives” poster was created with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. And inspired by the shear bad-ass-ness of the the coming together of space and detectives

These silhouettes were created in Adobe Illustrator.

Animations

The film industry is where I aim to end up for a career. This year I began learning how to animate using Adobe Flash. We looked at the different ways to animate; such as tweening and rotoscoping, and frame by frame animation. These are some examples of my work.

"Ghost"- a rotoscope animation.

"Sunrise"- a tweened animation

"Sketch"- a tweened/frame by frame animation

sketchy super post!

Super post of sketchy goodness!
The drawings you see here come from a drawing log in which I drew a picture everyday for three months. This experience helped me to develop my own style and experiment with various different mediums that i wouldn't typically use, such as charcoal, ink, conte, and water colours. In saying that, I definitely feel a preference for pencil.
enjoy.

Welcome

Hello and welcome.
This here is my fancy art portfolio. A purposeful misrepresentation of my work, like the nice suit you wear to an interview, designed specifically to try and impress those who will be deciding whether to let me into art school, or decline me and send me into a downward spiral of drink and drugs (never underestimate the power of the guilt trip).
Having established  that, please enjoy wind up theatre.
If for some strange reason you wish to contact me about something i can be reached at
